Damm ganó el año pasado 50,7 millones de euros, un 32,7% menos que en 2007

El grupo Damm obtuvo un beneficio de 50,7 millones de euros en 2008, un 32,7% menos que el registrado en el año anterior, según ha comunicado hoy a la Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV). Según la compañía, el esfuerzo inversor realizado durante 2008 ha supuesto el aumento de amortizaciones lo que, combinado con la no materialización durante este ejercicio de plusvalías por la gestión de la cartera de inversiones, ha provocado la caída del resultado. Damm registró una cifra de negocios de 755 millones durante el año 2008, lo que supone un aumento de un 4,6% con respecto al año 2007. Durante 2008, el grupo ha realizado inversiones por valor de 137 millones destinados principalmente a tres proyectos, sus instalaciones en la ZAL (Zona de Actividades Logísticas) en la Zona Franca del Puerto, que permitirá aumentar su capacidad de almacenamiento, la ampliación de las instalaciones de la fábrica de El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona), y las instalación de placas fotovoltaicas en algunas de sus naves.
