Deutsche Post va reducir de costes por 1.000 millones de euros hasta 2010

La compañía alemana de servicios postales Deutsche Post va a reducir costes, como mínimo, por valor de 1.000 millones de euros (1.320 millones de dólares) hasta finales de 2010 para hacer frente a la dificultades por la crisis económica. En un encuentro con periodistas la pasada noche en Fráncfort, el presidente de Deutsche Post, Frank Appel, dijo que la economía se encuentra en una recesión con forma de V, con una irracionalidad total por parte de la industria. Appel hizo hincapié en que Deutsche Post no tiene actualmente necesidad de refinanciación, ya que la tiene asegurada hasta 2013 tras la venta de Postbank, por lo que no está especialmente afectada por la crisis de los mercados financieros.
