El paro superará el 16% en marzo y se llegará a los 4 millones de parados en 2009, según Afi-Agett

La tasa de paro aumentará del 13,9% al 16% en el primer trimestre, y antes de mediados de año se habrán sobrepasado los 3,5 millones de desempleados para llegar a los cuatro millones al cierre de 2009, según el 'Avance del Mercado Laboral' elaborado por Analistas Financieros Internacionales (Afi) y la Asociación de Grandes Empresas de Trabajo Temporal (Agett). El descenso de la ocupación en términos de EPA alcanzará en los meses de febrero, marzo y abril tasas del 5,8%, 6,7% y 6,6%, respectivamente. A partir de entonces, se abrirá la puerta a que la destrucción del empleo deje de acelerarse, permenenciedo aún en tasas desconocidas hasta ahora, en torno al 6,5%. Esto permitirá que el número de ocupados permanezca por encima de los 19 millones durante el primer semestre, aunque, si la caída del empleo alcanza tasas negativas superiores al 3% en el segundo semestre el número de ocupados "perderá de vista" esta cifra. Además, si el PIB sigue siendo negativo en 2010, el empleo seguirá cayendo a ritmos interanuales de entre el -1,5% y el 2%. De momento, en enero se sumaron a las listas del paro otros 200.000 trabajadores, un 6,4% más respecto al mes de diciembre y un 47,1% más en relación a enero del año anterior, con lo que se percibe una aceleración del crecimiento del desempleo en los primeros compases del año.
