Madrid, 27 de noviembre de 2015.- El banco BBVA ha sido galardonado con el Premio Especial en la Primera Edición de los Premios Atos al Progreso Digital, entregados ayer en Madrid en un acto presidido por la Ministra de Fomento, Ana Pastor, que reunió a directivos de las principales empresas españolas y altos cargos de diferentes administraciones públicas. Junto al BBVA, fueron galardonados Endesa, el Cabildo Insular de Tenerife, el Ministerio de Hacienda y Administraciones Públicas, El Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe de Valencia y la consultora industrial asturiana  Prodintec.

En su intervención, la ministra de Fomento, Ana Pastor, dijo que la innovación es una de las grandes palancas que contribuyen a mejorar la vida de las personas y de la sociedad. “La buena marcha de las empresas -afirmó la ministra de Fomento-, su rentabilidad está ligada a esta revolución digital. Los países que más progresan son los que ponen mayor determinación en la innovación.  La revolución de las tecnologías está animando una salto cualitativo en nuestra sociedad y debemos invertir en tecnología y en I+D+i para alcanzar nuestros objetivos.”

Según la ministra el reto tecnológico es uno de los principales desafíos del sistema del transporte español, “un reto ilusionante que forma parte del ADN de Fomento y que nos permitirá ofrecer mejores servicios a los ciudadanos”.  Finalmente, Ana Pastor dijo que los Premios Atos reconocen iniciativas innovadoras que “son muy importantes para ser un país más competitivo. Para ser más eficientes y tener la satisfacción de que, poco a poco, estamos transformando la sociedad y mejorando la calidad de vida y bienestar de los ciudadanos”.

En su intervención,  Iván Lozano, director general de Atos España y Portugal, dijo que el proceso de digitalización crea modelos de negocio ágiles y muy frágiles.  “La aceleración del cambio -señaló-, les confiere ese carácter de fragilidad y sólo las organizaciones que sean capaces de identificar estos rasgos de fragilidad e impidan que se conviertan en debilidades serán las que tengan éxito en este viaje de transformación digital”.

Según el director general de Atos, el periodo 2015-2018 va a ser clave para que las organizaciones adopten los principios de este proceso de Transformación Digital. “Permanecer pasivos no será una opción y quien lo haga tendrá una situación complicada en 2020”.Iván Lozano afirmó que “nos enfrentamos a un reto importante en cuanto a liderazgo tecnológico, industrial y económico y tendremos que encontrar nuestra posición en un conjunto de países y tecnologías que han reconocido desde el principio esta nueva era digital”. 

Para el director general de Atos, conseguir los objetivos marcados por la Agenda Digital requiere el compromiso de todos los actores, desde las empresas a los ciudadanos,  “todos debemos contribuir, desde la innovación y la tecnología, al liderazgo de la empresas española en este nuevo ecosistema digital. Esa es la razón de ser de estos premios, distinguir proyectos que hayan contribuido a este cambio digital y animar a que otras organizaciones y negocios inicien o den velocidad de crucero a ese proceso de digitalización”.

Cinco categorías y un premio Especial

Los premios Atos contemplan las cinco categorías que definen la visión de Atos de la Transformación Digital y premian las iniciativas más destacadas en este proceso de transformación. 

El proyecto Digital Sales Acceleration, de Endesa mereció el Premio a la categoría Customer Experience. Se trata de una plataforma que integra la nueva web comercial con el sistema de gestión de la relación con clientes. Este entorno permite ofrecer a los clientes de Endesa productos y servicios personalizados, una mayor y mejor información y, en definitiva, una gestión más fácil y eficiente de sus contratos.

En la categoría Operational Excellence, el jurado eligió el proyecto RTC-ALIX, presentado por el Cabildo Insular de Tenerife, un conjunto de iniciativas que han permitido desarrollar importantes infraestructuras TIC en la isla, que le convierten en un gran polo de Telecomunicaciones no sólo a nivel nacional sino internacional. De esta manera y en el ejercicio de sus competencias, el Cabildo beneficia a sus trabajadores y ciudadanos, mejorado la eficacia y eficiencia de los servicios públicos que presta. 

El proyecto Cliente@Firma, del Ministerio de Hacienda y Administraciones Públicas mereció en galardón en la categoría Trust & Compliance. La iniciativa contempla una infraestructura software que facilita el uso, por parte de los ciudadanos, de la firma electrónica en sus relaciones con las administraciones públicas.

La candidatura Diagnóstico Genómico para la Medicina Personalizada, presentada por el Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe de Valenciamereció el Premio Business Reinvention. En su justificación, el jurado consideró quegracias a este proyecto se han desarrollado tecnologías capaces de realizar, de forma automática, el diagnóstico de enfermedades genéticas cuando hay mutaciones conocidas y cuando no, proporcionando un entorno de análisis de datos genómicos que facilita el descubrimiento de nuevas variantes (y genes) de enfermedad.

El Premio Especial del jurado “a la organización que haya demostrado una estrategia diferenciada en la transformación digital de su negocio”, correspondió al Plan Tecnológico de CIB del BBVA, que soporta la estrategia de transformación tecnológica y de negocio en el ámbito de la banca corporativa y de mercados financieros. El objetivo es ofrecer a los clientes del BBVA una mayor variedad de productos incorporando nuevos modelos de negocio con la mejor experiencia del cliente en un marco de eficiencia.
