Autodesk, compañía líder en software de diseño 2D y 3D, ha anunciado la disponibilidad de las versiones 2012 de la familia de productos AutoCAD. Las soluciones AutoCAD 2012 son aplicaciones de diseño que ofrecen a los usuarios la flexibilidad de poder utilizar AutoCAD con una multitud de fines y sectores distintos además de permitir el acceso a los trabajos desde cualquier punto y desde cualquier momento gracias a las nuevas funcionalidades de conectividad. Equipados con potentes opciones de personalización específicas para cada sector, los productos 2012 de AutoCAD posibilitan que arquitectos, ingenieros y otros profesionales del diseño exploren ideas, documentos de diseño y desarrollen proyectos colaborativos en formato DWG. Los usuarios de los nuevos productos de AutoCAD podrán disfrutar de nuevas herramientas de productividad, funcionalidades para el dibujo slash, el detallado y la revisión de diseños. Las herramientas de dibujo paramétrico definen automáticamente las relaciones persistentes entre objetos; la funcionalidad extendida de matrices asociadas permite crear un rango de objetos repetidos a lo largo de un camino; y las mejoras en la importación y publicación de PDF ayudan a que la comunicación con el cliente sea más fluida y transparente. Por otro lado, se han añadido herramientas para que el modelado 3D sea más robusto mejorando las funcionalidades de diseño conceptual y de superficies y también se han ampliado el número de formatos que se pueden leer y editar potenciando el proceso de documentación con una precisión mayor y unos tiempos de ejecución más cortos. Otras mejoras están enfocadas a reducir el tiempo de arranque y acelerar la rapidez del diseño, todo ello con una experiencia visual y gráfica de alta gama.

Con acceso directo a las aplicaciones web y móvil de AutoCAD WS desde los propios productos AutoCAD 2012, los usuarios pueden visualizar, editar y compartir sus diseños con cualquiera, desde cualquier sitio tanto desde un navegador web como desde un dispositivo móvil.   • El software Autodesk Inventor Fusion para el desarrollo de diseño conceptual en 3D está ahora incluido en AutoCAD 2012. Inventor Fusion unifica la potencia y el control del modelado paramétrico y basado en histórico, con la facilidad de uso y las ventajas de productividad del modelado directo y no-histórico. La integración entre AutoCAD e Inventor Fusion hace que las transferencias entre aplicaciones sean más rápidas, así como con otros entornos 2D y 3D.

El software AutoCAD Architecture 2012 ofrece ahora más rapidez en el arranque y en la carga de dibujos para obtener un acceso más inmediato a herramientas y a la navegación por diseños de grandes dimensiones. La nueva funcionalidad para crear ventanas en esquinas hace que sea más sencillo añadir una ventana única en la esquina de intersección entre dos paredes.

El software para diseño mecánico, eléctrico y de fontanería, AutoCAD MEP 2012 , ofrece una productividad nativa mejorada y herramientas de utilidades que facilitan el acceso a modelos 3D interactivos y dinámicos para la diseño de sistemas de edificios. El nuevo soporte para el trabajo con Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) desde AutoCAD MEP ayuda a que los usuarios gestionen y compartan datos con otros colaboradores durante todo el proceso de diseño.

AutoCAD Electrical 2012. Este software amplía su soporte para estándares internacionales, nuevos materiales didácticos y una interfaz intuitiva que hace que la creación de diseños de control eléctrico sean mucho más sencillos reduciendo tiempos y errores.

El software de diseño y dibujo AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 permite ahora la edición de modelos 3D desde casi cualquier fuente con Inventor Fusion y la creación de vistas de dibujo inteligentes con una nueva funcionalidad de documentación. También incluye mayores posibilidades de migración de materiales, mejoras en el rendimiento y nuevas funcionalidades de colaboración desarrolladas para que los usuarios obtengan una mayor productividad mientras mantienen los workflows existentes.
