Francesco Starace, consejero delegado y director general de Enel Green Power, ha señalado que "Enel Green Power presenta hoy unos resultados que confirman el logro de todos los objetivos de crecimiento fijados para 2010. Estamos perfectamente en línea con el plan de desarrollo anunciado con ocasión de la salida a Bolsa y hemos puesto los cimientos para lograr también un crecimiento robusto en 2011. Por este motivo -ha proseguido- trabajamos con confianza y determinación para alcanzar los objetivos del plan industrial. Para lograr dichos objetivos son necesarias las características distintivas de Enel Green Power que son: la amplia diversificación geográfica y el mix de tecnologías equilibrado, al que se une el elevado índice de productividad de nuestras plantas".

A 31 de diciembre de 2010 la deuda financiera neta no incluye la deuda asociada con los activos clasificados como en venta, por un importe total de 284 millones de euros, relativos a las plantas dependientes de Enel Unión Fenosa Renovables (EUFER) incluidos en el lote de activos destinados a la cesión a Gas Natural Fenosa, como consecuencia del acuerdo -sujeto a ciertas condiciones- de división de la totalidad de los activos de la propia EUFER.

Se señala que, tras completar la adquisición del 60% del capital de Endesa Cogeneración y Renovables ("ECyR") a Endesa Generación a fecha 22 de marzo de 2010, Enel Green Power adquirió el control de ECyR (que ha pasado a llamarse Enel Green Power España) y que, a partir de dicha fecha, ha pasado a consolidarse por el método de integración global. En relación a los principales efectos que dicha adquisición ha tenido en la cuenta de resultados consolidada de Enel Green Power, se evidencia que el EBITDA de ECyR incluido en el Balance consolidado a 31 de diciembre de 2010 (igual a 111 millones de euros) representa el 8,5% del EBITDA del Grupo Enel Green Power del ejercicio 2010 (igual a 1.313 millones de euros).

Asimismo se pone de relieve que con fecha 17 de marzo de 2010 Enel EpA ("Enel") ha procedido a la repatrimonialización de Enel Green Power mediante la renuncia a una parte del crédito financiero de la propia Enel en relación con Enel Green Power, por un importe de 3.700 millones de euros.

En la presente nota se utilizan algunos "indicadores alternativos de actuación" no previstos en las normas de contabilidad NIIF-UE Igresos totales, EBITDA, capital neto invertido, deuda financiera neta, activos netos para la venta), cuyo significado y contenido aparecen ilustrados a continuación, en base a las recomendaciones CESR/05-178b publicadas el 3 de noviembre de 2005.

DATOS OPERATIVOS

 

Capacidad Neta Instalada

 

La capacidad neta instalada del Grupo a finales de 2010 fue de 6.102 MW, divididos en 2.539 MW (42%) de capacidad hidroeléctrica, 2.654 MW (43%) de capacidad eólica, 775 MW (13%) de capacidad geotérmica y 134 MW (2%) de otras tecnologías renovables (solar, biomasa y cogeneración). Respecto a finales de 2009 la capacidad instalada ha aumentado en 1.294 MW (+27%). Dicho incremento, que tiene en cuenta el desmantelamiento de 2 MW, se debe a los 904 MW aportados por ECyR (actualmente Enel Green Power España) en la fecha de adquisición, y a los 392 MW del crecimiento orgánico.

 

A 31 de diciembre de 2010 la capacidad instalada fue de 3.127 MW (un 9% más respecto al 31 de diciembre de 2009) en la zona de Italia y Europa, 2.187 MW (un 88% más respecto al 31 de diciembre de 2009) en el área de Iberia y América Latina y a 788 MW (sin variación respecto al 31 de diciembre de 2009) en el área de América del Norte.

 

El crecimiento registrado en la zona de Italia y Europa viene determinado principalmente por la puesta en marcha de plantas eólicas en Italia (103 MW), Rumania (64 MW), Francia (34 MW), Bulgaria (21 MW) y Grecia (10 MW) y de plantas geotérmicas en Italia (33 MW). El crecimiento registrado en la zona de Iberia y Latinoamérica es sustancialmente imputable a la consolidación de la capacidad instalada de ECyR (904 MW) y a la puesta en marcha de las plantas eólicas instaladas en la península Ibérica (120 MW).

La producción neta del Grupo en 2010 fue de 21,8 TWh, de los que 11,1 TWh (51%) fueron hidroeléctricos, 4,9 TWh (22%) eólicos, 5,3 TWh (24%) geotérmicos y 0,5 TWh (3%) provenientes de otras tecnologías renovables (solar, biomasa y cogeneración).

La producción de energía eléctrica aumentó en 2,9 TWh (+15%) respecto a 2009. Dicho incremento se debe al aumento de la capacidad instalada, a una mayor disponibilidad de las plantas eólicas, y a un incremento de la producción hidráulica.

La producción de energía eléctrica fue de 12,7 TWh (un 6% más respecto al 31 de diciembre de 2009) en la zona de Italia y Europa, 6,5 TWh (un 48% más respecto al 31 de diciembre de 2009) en el área de Iberia y Latinoamérica y 2,6 TWh (un 8% más respecto al 31 de diciembre de 2009) en la zona de América del Norte. El crecimiento registrado en la zona de Italia y Europa estuvo marcado por la mayor disponibilidad de agua en las plantas hidráulicas en Italia y por el crecimiento de la capacidad instalada en la zona, principalmente en el sector eólico. En la zona de Iberia y Latinoamérica, el crecimiento de la producción ha estado marcado por el aporte de la capacidad de ECyR (constituida en un 90% por las plantas eólicas), por el incremento de la capacidad registrada en el sector eólico en la península Ibérica y por la mayor "hidraulicidad" de las plantas hidroeléctricas instaladas en México y Guatemala. En la zona de América del Norte, el crecimiento de la producción ha estado marcada por la plena operatividad de las plantas eólicas y geotérmicas.

DATOS ECONÓMICOS-FINANCIEROS CONSOLIDADOS

Los ingresos totales del Grupo Enel Green Power (que a continuación llamaremos Grupo) en 2010 fueron de 2.271 millones de euros, lo que representa un incremento del 19,8% respecto a los 1.895 millones de euros de 2009. Esta variación refleja el crecimiento de los ingresos de las actividades internacionales, que también se han beneficiado de la consolidación de ECyR por el método de integración global a partir de finales de marzo de 2010, y de los ingresos de la filial Enel.si.

El Ebitda (resultado bruto de explotación) de 2010 fue de 1.313 millones de euros, es decir un 8,8% más respecto a los 1.207 millones de euros de 2009, sobre todo como consecuencia del citado crecimiento de las actividades internacionales.

El Ebit (resultado operativo) del 2010 fue de 794 millones de euros, practicamente en línea (+0,4%) con los 791 millones de euros de 2009. De hecho, el incremento del Ebitda se vio compensado por una mayor depreciación y crecimiento de las amortizaciones y pérdidas de valor, relacionados principalmente con el cambio en el perímetro de consolidación.

El Resultado neto del Grupo en 2010 fue de 452 millones de euros, es decir un 8,1% más respecto a los 418 millones de euros de 2009. Dicho aumento (30 millones de euros) se debe a la aplicación de los beneficios fiscales previstos en el D.L. 78/2009 (c.d. "Tremonti-Ter") y a mayores ganancias derivadas de las inversiones en capital valoradas con el método del patrimonio neto (14 millones de euros).

El balance consolidado a 31 de diciembre de 2010 pone de relieve un Capital invertido neto de 10.436 millones de euros (7.909 millones de euros a 31 de diciembre de 2009), incluidas los activos netos para la venta equivalentes a 112 millones de euros (no presentes a 31 de diciembre de 2009). Esto está cubierto por el patrimonio neto del Grupo y por terceros por  7.344 millones de euros (2.564 millones de euros a 31 de diciembre de 2009) y por la deuda financiera neta por 3.092 millones de euros (5.345 millones de euros a 31 de diciembre de 2009), sin incluir la deuda asociada a los activos para la venta, igual a 284 millones de euros.

La Deuda financiera neta a 31 de diciembre de 2010 fue de 3.092 millones de euros, unos 2.253 millones de euros menos respecto a los 5.345 millones de euros de finales de 2009. En particular, la reducción de la deuda financiera neta se debe a la señalada repatrimonialización efectuada por parte de la matriz Enel S.p.A., cuyos efectos fueron en parte compensados por la adquisición de ECyR (860 millones de euros) y por la consiguiente variación del perímetro de consolidación (312 millones de euros). A 31 de diciembre de 2010, la parte de la deuda financiera neta a corto plazo fue del 49% (79% a 31 de diciembre de 2009)

A 31 de diciembre de 2010, la incidencia de la deuda financiera neta sobre el patrimonio neto total, el llamado ratio debt to equity, se espera en un 0,4 frente al 2,1 de finales de 2009.

Las Inversiones efectuadas en 2010 fueron de 1.066 millones de euros, es decir, un aumento de 322 millones respecto al ejercicio de 2009. Las inversiones se refieren principalmente a intervenciones en plantas de generación de energía eléctrica (por 1.017 millones de euros), de los que 690 millones de euros hacen referencia a plantas eólicas y solares, 174 millones de euros a plantas geotérmicas, y 153 millones de euros relacionados con centrales hidroeléctricas. Asimismo en dicho ejercicio se realizaron inversiones financieras por 103 millones de euros.

 

Los empleados del Grupo a 31 de diciembre de 2010 (incluidos los 12 empleados que se encuentran en las unidades clasificadas como "para la venta") son de 2.955 (2.685 a 31 de diciembre de 2009), es decir, 270 empleados más. El incremento se debe principalmente a la variación del perímetro de consolidación de 183 personas y al saldo neto entre la contratación y el cese (87 empleados más).

 
REsultaDOS 2010 DE LA MATRIZ, Enel Green Power

 

El Grupo Enel Green Power gestiona las propias plantas de producción (345 plantas de producción geotérmica, hidroeléctrica, eólica y solar), con una capacidad instalada neta de 2.776 MW a fecha de 31 de diciembre de 2010, y una producción de 12,2 TW. Asimismo Enel Green Power coordina las actividades de las empresas filiales, definiendo los objetivos estratégicos. También desarrolla funciones de tesorería central para las empresas extranjeras del Grupo a través de su filial Enel Green Power International BV, y se ocupa de cubrir riesgos aseguradores, ofrece asistencia y directrices en materia de organización, gestión del personal y relaciones laborales, así como en materia de contabilidad, administrativa, fiscal, legal y empresarial.

Los Ingresos totales de 2010, fueron de 1.200 millones de euros (1.205 millones de euros en el ejercicio 2009), lo que supone una reducción de 5 millones de euros respecto al ejercicio 2009,  como consecuencia de la reducción de los ingresos totales relativos a la producción y venta de energía (29 millones de euros) y al aumento de otros ingresos (24 millones de euros) por servicios y prestaciones producidos principalmente por las filiales italianas. La variación de los ingresos totales relacionados con la producción y venta de energía deriva de la reducción de los precios medios y de la caducidad del régimen incentivado CIP 6/92 aplicado a algunas plantas, efecto sólo en parte compensado por el aumento de energía producida y por el incremento de los ingresos provenientes de Certificados Verdes.

 

El EBITDA (resultado bruto de explotación) de 2010 fue de 846 millones de euros (878 millones de euros en 2009), lo que supone una reducción de 32 millones de euros respecto al ejercicio precedente, principalmente como efecto de la reducción de los ingresos relacionados con la producción y venta de energía.

 

El EBIT (resultado operativo) de 2010 fue de 532 millones de euros (573 millones de euros en 2009), evidenciando una reducción de 41 millones de euros respecto al ejercicio precedente como consecuencia de la reducción del EBITDA y al aumento de las amortizaciones relacionadas con las plantas de producción.

 

El Resultado neto del ejercicio 2010 fue de 344 millones de euros, es decir, 22 millones de euros más (+6,8%) respecto al ejercicio precedente, como consecuencia de la reducción de los gastos financieros tras la repatrimonialización realizada durante el ejercicio, y a los impuestos como consecuencia de los beneficios derivados de la aplicación de los beneficios fiscales previstos en el D.L. 78/2009 (c.d. "Tremonti-Ter").

 

La Deuda financiera neta a 31 de diciembre de 2010 fue de 1.915 millones de euros, 2.555 millones de euros menos respecto al ejercicio precedente como consecuencia de la citada renuncia al crédito por 3.700 millones de euros por parte de la filial Enel SpA, efecto parcialmente compensado por las nuevas inversiones en capital (1.114 millones de euros).

 

El Patrimonio neto a 31 de diciembre de 2010 fue de 6.303 millones de euros, 4.012 millones de euros más respecto al ejercicio precedente, como consecuencia principalmente de la citada repatrimonialización de 3.700 millones de euros realizada por las filiales, de la relevación del útil del ejercicio (344 millones de euros) y de la variación de las otras reservas ( -32 millones de euros).

  ACONTECIMIENTOS RECIENTES

 

Durante el mes de noviembre de 2010, se han puesto en marcha las centrales geotérmicas de Radicondoli 2 y Chiusdino, situadas en la provincia de Siena (Italia). Con una capacidad total instalada de 33 MW, las dos plantas se unen a los 40 MW de capacidad de la central ya existente alcanzando una capacidad total de 73 MW. Las dos plantas, a régimen, serán capaces de producir 280 millones de KWh equivalentes a las necesidades de consumo de 110.000 familias, evitando cada año la emisión de 400.000 toneladas de CO2 a la atmósfera, además de ahorrar 110.000 TEP (toneladas equivalentes de petróleo) de combustible fósil.

 

El 3 de diciembre de 2010, tras el inicio de las negociaciones en el mercado MTA de Borsa Italiana y en los mercados regulados españoles, de las acciones de Enel Green Power, los Joint Global Coordinators, en conformidad a cuanto previsto en el folleto informativo, han ejercido la opción de compra (c.d. greenshoe) por 126.456.258 acciones de Enel Green Power equivalentes a cerca del 9% de la oferta global de venta.

Tras el greenshoe, la oferta global de venta realizada por el Socio Enel S.p.A. ha supuesto la asignación a terceros de 1.541.426.258 acciones de Enel Green Power  equivalentes al 30,8% del capital social. 

 

El 6 de diciembre de 2010, se puso en marcha la primera planta eólica de Enel Green Power Rumanía. La planta, denominada Agighiol, está dotada de 17 turbinas de 2 MW cada una por una potencia total instalada de 34 MW. Con una producción anual de unos 100 millones de KWh, será capaz de satisfacer el consumo de 35.000 familias y de evitar la emisión de 70.000 toneladas de CO2 cada año a la atmósfera.

 

El 9 de diciembre de 2010, Enel Green Power y el Banco Europeo para Inversiones ("BEI") firmaron un acuerdo en base al cual el "BEI" se comprometía a conceder un préstamo de 440.000 millones de euros que, en base a ulteriores acuerdos entre las partes, podría incrementarse hasta los 600 millones de euros, para contribuir a la financiación del programa de desarrollo en Italia de las actividades de Enel Green Power. El préstamo "BEI" contribuirá a financiar las instalaciones de nuevas plantas eólicas y fotovoltaicas por 840 MW, para las cuales Enel Green Power ha previsto una inversión de unos 1.300 millones de euros.

El 22 de diciembre de 2010, el BEI erogó una primera cuota de financiación de 300 millones de euros.

 

El 31 de diciembre de 2010, se dio por concluida la instalación de aerogeneradores del Parque Eólico de Contrada Coniglia en la provincia de Trapani (Sicilia, Italia), con una potencia instalada de unos 20  MW. El Parque Eólico será capaz de producir 43 millones de KWh al año, equivalentes al consumo de 15.000 familias, y permitirá evitar la emisión de 30.000 toneladas de CO2 cada año a la atmósfera.

 

En diciembre 2010, se puso en marcha el Parque Eólico de Salbatica I (situado en las inmediaciones de Tulcea - Nord Dobrogea en Rumanía), cuya construcción había dado inicio durante ese ejercicio. La planta está dotada de 15 aerogeneradores de 2 MW cada cuno por una potencia total instalada de 30 MW. Salbatica se une al parque eólico de Agighiol, el primero puesto en marcha por Enel Green Power en Rumanía,  en diciembre.

Con una producción anual estimada en 180 millones de KWh, las dos plantas serán capaces de satisfacer el consumo de 64.000 familias y evitar la emisión de unas 120.000 toneladas de CO2 a la atmósfera cada año.

 

En diciembre de 2010, se puso en marcha la nueva planta eólica de Alvaiàzere en Portugal. Con una potencia instalada de 10 MW, y formada por 5 turbinas de 2 MW cada una y cuando esté operativa será capaz de producir 29 millones de KWh, equivalentes al consumo de 11.000 familias, evitando la emisión a la atmósfera de unas 22.000 toneladas de CO2 cada año.

A esta primera fase del proyecto seguirá una segunda que prevé la instalación, en la misma localización, de otros 8 MW por una potencia total de la planta de 18 MW.

 

En diciembre de 2010 se pusieron en marcha en España las plantas eólicas de: Cogollos, en la región de Castilla y León -con una potencia instalada de 50 MW-; Los Barrancos en Andalucía -con una potencia instalada de 20 MW-; y El Puntal, también en Andalucía- con una potencia instalada de 26 MW.

Con una potencia instalada de 96 MW, las tres plantas serán capaces de producir 260 millones de KWh, equivalentes al consumo de 95.000 familias, evitando la emisión de unas 192.000 toneladas de CO2 a la atmósfera cada año. 

 

El 27 de enero de 2011, dio inicio la construcción de una nueva planta fotovoltaica de Enel Green Power en Adrano, en la provincia italiana de Catania, donde en 1981 Enel realizó la primera central solar de concentración del mundo.

La planta tendrá una potencia de 9 MW y será capaz de producir más de 14 millones de KWh - equivalentes al consumo de más de 5.000 familias- evitando la emisión a la atmósfera de unas 10.000 toneladas de CO2 cada año.

 

Durante el mes de enero de 2011, Enel Green Power alcanzó un acuerdo con el grupo empresarial turco Uzun para el desarrollo de plantas geotérmicas en Turquía. En particular, el acuerdo firmado prevé la creación de un grupo de investigación y exploración gestionado y participado en su mayoría por Enel Green Power y con una cuota minoritaria de Meteor, empresa controlada al 70% por Uzun y al 30% por la consultora turca de geotermia G-Energy.

Dicho grupo dispone de un paquete de 142 licencias de exploración en la zona occidental del país, donde realizar las actividades de exploración superficial y profunda, con la finalidad de localizar recursos geotérmicos adecuados para la generación de energía eléctrica y calor.

A día de hoy son 86 los MW geotérmicos instalados en Turquía y el plan de desarrollo establecido por el gobierno prevé el desarrollo en 2015 de la capacidad instalada en el sector por otros 600 MW, destinados a la generación de energía eléctrica.


evoluCiÓn PREVISIBLE de la gestiÓn

 

El año 2011 representa un año fundamental en la consolidación de la posición de líderazgo del Grupo Enel Green Power en el sector de las energías renovables y el logro de los objetivos estratégicos asumidos con los inversores tras la reciente cotización en bolsa de la empresa.

 

El Grupo proseguirá poniendo en marcha su Plan Estratégico, acelerando el crecimiento de la capacidad instalada y buscando el desarrollo equilibrado en las principales tecnologías y en los países en los que está presente. La consecución de dicho objetivo estará basada en los beneficios económicos perseguidos a través de economías de escala, fundamentalmente en el ámbito del procurement, y en la presencia internacional del Grupo.

Con el objetivo de preservar la diversificación geográfica de la propia cartera, la atención del Grupo estará dirigida a los mercados con abundantes recursos renovables, estabilidad del sistema regulatorio y elevado crecimiento económico, mientras se evaluarán y seleccionarán de forma oportuna nuevas oportunidades en países que presenten amplio potencial de desarrollo así como llevando a cabo las apropiadas desinversiones en países no estratégicos.

Asimismo, el Grupo concluirá la integración organizativa de los activos españoles y portugueses derivados de la compra de la empresa española ECyR y de la subdivisión de los activos de Eufer.

El Grupo, a la luz de la joint venture (JV) con Sharp y ST, denominada 3Sun, ha iniciado recientemente la construcción de una fábrica de paneles fotovoltáicos que iniciará su producción en 2011. El posterior inicio y desarrollo de la segunda JV con Sharp, tendrá como objetivo el desarrollo y la operación de plantas fotovoltáicas en la zona EMEA (Europa, Oriente Medio y África). Asimismo, el Grupo proseguirá con el desarrollo de las actividades retail en el sector fotovoltaico y de la eficiencia energética a través de Enel.si.

El Grupo proseguirá con su compromiso en el sector de la investigación y del desarrollo de tecnologías innovadoras, poniendo la máxima atención en el medio ambiente y en la seguridad.

Asamblea y Dividendos


El Consejo de Administración ha convocado la Junta General Ordinaria de Accionistas los próximos 27 de abril (primera convocatoria), y 28 de abril (segunda convocatoria).

Dicha Junta General aprobará, en sede ordinaria, el balance del ejercicio y examinará el balance consolidado de 2010, así como aprobará la distribución de un dividendo relativo al ejercicio 2010 de 2,72 céntimos de euro por acción. Los dividendos relacionados a los resultados 2010 fueron de 136 millones de euros, frente a un útil neto consolidado de 452 millones de euros, en línea con la anunciada política de dividendos que prevé, a partir de 2010, un pay-out no inferior al 30% del benficio neto consolidado.

El Consejo de Administración propone fijar el 23 mayo de 2011 como fecha "ex-dividend" de pago del dividendo, y el 26 de mayo de 2011 para el pago del dividendo en cuestión. 

La Junta General elegirá a tres consejeros independientes para el Consejo de Administración, renovará el comité de auditoría por expiración de su mandato, y nombrará un auditor independiente de las cuentas para el periodo 2011-2019, teniendo en cuenta la expiración del plazo del encargo confiado a KPMG SpA en coincidencia con la aprobación del balance del ejercicio 2010.

Por último la Junta General tendrá que deliberar en sede extraordinaria sobre algunos cambios del  estatuto social, algunos de los cuales relacionados con el procedimiento para la realización de transacciones con las partes relacionadas (con atención particular a las operaciones de mayor relevancia y a aquellos eventos de carácter urgente), y otros con el objetivo de permitir a los accionistas participar en la junta a través de medios electrónicos.

La documentación relacionada con los puntos del orden del día de la Junta General, prevista en la normativa vigente, se pondrá a disposición del público en los términos que establece la ley.

A las 18.00 horas de hoy, 9 de marzo de 2011, se realizará una conference call para ilustrar los resultados del ejercicio 2010 a analistas, financieros, e inversores institucionales, a la que se podrán conectar "ad audiendum" también periodistas. 

El material de apoyo se pondrá a disposición en la página www.enelgreenpower.com, en la sección Investor Relations, al mismo tiempo que dé inicio la propia conference call.

Se adjunta los estados consolidados con los ingresos, balance y cash-flow del ejercicio del Grupo Enel Green Power y los cotrrespondientes a Enel Green Power SpA y se señala que dichos esquemas y las notas de comentario fueron entregadas al Comité de Auditoría, y a los auditores externos para su evaluación. Asimismo se adjunta una síntesis descriptiva de los "indicadores alternativos de actuación".

 

El responsable de la redacción de los documentos contables, Alberto de Paoli, declara que en base al coma 2 del art. 154-bis del Testo Unico della Finanza que la información contable contenida en el presente comunicado corresponde a los resultados documentados, a los libros y a las escrituras contables.

 

A continuación ofrecemos un análisis sintético de los resultados de cada área de negocio (cuyos cuadros no tienen en cuenta "inter-segment eliminations").

Resultados de las líneas de negocio

En el mes de marzo de 2010, el Grupo Enel Green Power se dotó de un nueva estructura organizativa que ha previsto la reorganización alrededor de áreas geográficas ("Áreas") en: Italia y Europa, Península Ibérica y Latinoamérica, América del Norte, y por último Enel.si. En la presente nota y en el balance financiero consolidado de 2010, los resultados de estas Áreas se presentan según la estructura actual, y para asegurar la continuidad de la información ofrecida, los resultados relativos a 2009 han sido redistribuidos entre los segmentos establecidos bajo la nueva organización de de marzo de 2010.

Los Ingresos totales de 2010 fueron de 1.212 millones de euros, lo que evidencia una reducción de 9 millones de euros respecto al ejercicio precedente (1.221 millones de euros) derivados principalmente de la reducción de los ingresos relacionados con la producción y venta de energía de Enel Green Power S.p.A. (29 millones de euros), en parte compensada por el incremento de los ingresos relacionados con la producción y venta de energía en el resto de Europa (19 millones de euros).

 

El EBITDA de 2010 fue de 881 millones de euros, 17 millones de euros menos respecto al ejercicio precedente (898 millones de euros). Esta reducción del EBITDA de Enel Green Power S.p.A., se vio en parte compensada por el incremento del resultado de las operaciones internacionales.

 

El EBIT de 2010 de 546 millones de euros, pone de relieve una reducción de 35 millones de euros respecto al ejercicio precedente. Este descenso se debió al aumento de amortizaciones debido a la entrada en servicio de las nuevas plantas de producción (18 millones de euros).

 

Las Inversiones a 31 de diciembre de 2010 fueron de 642 millones de euros (453 millones de euros en 2009), de los que 515 millones de euros fueron realizados en Italia (343 millones de euros  del ejercicio 2009) y 127 millones de euros en Europa (110 millones de euros en el ejercicio 2009).

Las inversiones realizadas en Italia se refieren principalmente a la construcción de plantas eólicas por un valor de 195 millones de euros (148 millones de euros en 2009), a plantas fotovoltáicas por 93 millones de euros (0 en 2009), a plantas geotérmicas por 137 millones de euros (138 millones de euros en 2009), a plantas hidroeléctricas por 59 millones de euros (47 millones de euros en 2009,) y por 31 millones de euros a otras inversiones (10 millones de euros en 2009).

En Europa, las inversiones hacen referencia a la construcción de plantas eólicas, principalmente en Rumanía (75 millones de euros) y en Francia (40 millones de euros).

Los Ingresos totales de 2010 fueron de 576 millones de euros, es decir un incremento de 224 millones de euros respecto al ejercicio precedente, principalmente por la contribución de ECyr (186 millones de euros) y por efecto del incremento de la producción en México (casi 8 millones de euros), de los precios spot en Chile (unos 13 millones de euros) y por el efecto de los tipos de cambio positivos en Brasil (unos 6 millones de euros).

 

El EBITDA de 2010, de 336 millones de euros, registra un incremento de 124 millones de euros respecto a 2009 (igual a 212 millones de euros). Dicho resultado refleja el citado aumento de ingresos, parcialmente compensado por el incremento de los costes derivados principalmente de la consolidación de ECyr, igual a 75 millones de euros.

 

El EBIT de 2010, fue de 206 millones de euros, 51 millones de euros más respecto a 2009, como consecuencia del incremento del EBITDA parcialmente compensado por las amortizaciones mayores del ejercicio, derivadas principalmente de la consolidación de ECyR (72 millones de euros).

 

Las Inversiones a 31 de diciembre de 2010 fueron de 251 millones de euros, en línea respecto al ejercicio precedente. Las inversiones del periodo hacen referencia principalmente a la construcción de plantas eólicas en la península Ibérica (124 millones de euros), de plantas geotérmicas en Chile (24 millones de euros), e hidroeléctricas en Guatemala (68 millones de euros).

Los Ingresos totales de 2010, de 157 millones de euros, ponen de relieve un incremento de 13 millones de euros respecto al ejercicio 2009, derivado principalmente del incremento de la producción y de la contabilización de los ingresos relativos a la parte ineficaz de un derivado de protección del precio commodity, en parte compensados por la reducción de los beneficios derivados de los acuerdos de tax partnership.

 

El EBITDA de 2010, de 84 millones de euros, registra una disminución de 6 millones de euros respecto al ejercicio precedente. El incremento de los ingresos se vio compensado por mayores costes destinados a potenciar las actividades de desarrollo.

 

El EBIT de 2010, de 34 millones de euros, registra una reducción de 15 millones de euros respecto al ejercicio precedente, principalmente como consecuencia de mayores amortizaciones en ese periodo (9 millones de euros).

 

Las Inversiones a 31 de diciembre de 2010, el bruto de las contribuciones, fueron de 173 millones de euros y hacen referencia a las plantas eólicas de Castle Rocke Ridge (68 millones de euros) y Caney River (76 millones de euros), así como geotérmicas de Cove Fort (11 millones de euros).

Los Ingresos totales de 2010 fueron de 326 millones de euros (178 millones de euros en 2009), un aumento de 148 millones de euros respecto al ejercicio precedente como consecuencia de los mayores ingresos por ventas de material fotovoltaico por 192 millones de euros (en línea con el aumento de ventas, equivalente a 113,1 MWp) y de la disminución de ingresos por ventas de certificados de eficiencia energética por 39 millones de euros.

 

El EBITDA de 2010 fue de 12 millones de euros, 5 millones de euros más respecto al año precedente (7 millones de euros en 2009).

 

El Ebit de 2010, de 8 millones de euros, pone de relieve un incremento de 2 millones de euros respecto al ejercicio precedente, teniendo en cuenta los 4 millones de euros de amortizaciones y devaluaciones crediticias.

INDICATORES ALTERNATIVOS DE ACTUACIÓN

A continuación ofrecemos una descripción de "indicadores alternativos de rendimiento", que no aparecen contemplados en las normas de contabilidad NIIF-UE, utilizados en esta nota con el fin de permitir una mejor valoración de la evolución de los resultados y situación patrimonial del Grupo.

 

·       Los ingresos totales: equivalen a la suma de los Ingresos y de los Resultados netos procedentes de la gestión del riesgo commodity;

 

·       Ebitda (resultado bruto de explotación): para Enel Green Power representa un indicador del comportamiento operativo y se calcula sumando al "Resultado operativo" las "amortizaciones, depreciaciones y pérdidas de valor";

 

·       La Deuda financiera neta: representa para Enel Green Power un indicador de la propia estructura financiera; se calcula a partir de la "deuda financiera a largo plazo", de la cuotas corrientes a ellas referidas, de las "financiaciones a corto plazo", de algunas partidas incluidas en el epígrafe "pasividad financiera corriente", al neto de la "disponibilidad líquida y medios equivalentes", y de las "actividades financiera corrientes" y "no corrientes" no consideradas en precedencia.

 

·       El Capital neto invertido es la suma de los "activos no corrientes", del "activo circulante", y de los "activos para la venta", el neto de los "pasivos no corrientes", la "deuda a corto plazo", y el "pasivo para la venta", excluyendo las elementos previamente considerados en la definición de la deuda financiera neta;
