La patronal de Empresas de Trabajo Temporal y Agencias de Empleo en España (Asempleo) prevé que se firmen 745.128 contratos de puesta a disposición en España durante los meses de julio y agosto, lo que supone un incremento del 9,5% respecto al verano anterior.

Asempleo destaca que esta evolución se traduciría, además, en más de 38.000 trabajadores adicionales respecto al año anterior y en llamamiento directo de 165.584 personas contratadas a través de empresas del sector durante estos dos meses.

Así lo ha explicado el presidente de la patronal, Andreu Cruañas, durante un desayuno informativo celebrado este miércoles en el que ha presentado las previsiones de contratación del sector para la campaña de verano de 2026.

Cruañas ha explicado que el verano concentra gran parte de la contratación temporal vinculada al turismo, la hostelería, el comercio, la logística y los servicios y que, en este contexto, las empresas de trabajo temporal (ETT) y agencias de empleo son "fundamentales para dar respuesta a estas necesidades", actuando como "verdaderos motores del empleo durante la campaña estival".

PERFILES MÁS DEMANDADOS

Para esta campaña, los perfiles más demandados se dividen en dos grandes bloques sectoriales. Por un lado, la hostelería y la restauración absorberán cerca de la mitad de la contratación ETT del periodo, con una necesidad especialmente intensa de camareros de sala y barra, cocineros de partida, auxiliares de cocina con formación en alérgenos y recepcionistas con dominio de inglés y, en destinos de alta afluencia internacional, de un segundo idioma.

A estos perfiles se suman los animadores turísticos y el personal de eventos en el segmento de ocio y entretenimiento, donde Asempleo prevé uno de los mayores crecimientos relativos de la campaña, especialmente en las comunidades insulares durante el mes de agosto.

En estos ámbitos, las empresas usuarias demandan disponibilidad inmediata, flexibilidad horaria, capacidad de adaptación y preparación para trabajar en entornos de máxima carga operativa.

Por otro lado, el comercio minorista en zonas turísticas y grandes superficies generará una demanda sostenida de dependientes, cajeros y reponedores.

En transporte y logística, aunque la penetración de las ETT se ha moderado "por la consolidación del contrato fijo discontinuo", persiste una necesidad puntual de repartidores de última milla, mozos de almacén con manejo de sistemas de gestión de stock y carretilleros con carné en vigor.

No obstante, Asempleo observa una creciente valoración de las competencias digitales básicas en todos los sectores, como el manejo de terminales de punto de venta, aplicaciones de gestión de reservas, plataformas de pedido o herramientas de control de stock, habilidades que "han dejado de ser un elemento diferencial para convertirse en un requisito transversal de empleabilidad".

Por ello, Cruañas ha destacado que será necesario que "se impulsen de manera eficiente programas de orientación y formación profesional" que permitan que los grandes movimientos de empleo, como la integración al mercado laboral de las personas migrantes regularizadas, se traduzcan "en una oportunidad real de estabilidad, más allá de la estacionalidad".

Por comunidades autónomas, Cataluña liderará la previsión de contratación ETT durante la campaña de verano, con 147.595 contratos de puesta a disposición previstos, seguida de Madrid, con 128.471, y Comunidad Valenciana, con 88.279.

A continuación, se sitúan Murcia, con 69.894 contratos; Andalucía, con 68.677; Canarias, con 43.306; Galicia, con 36.028; Castilla y León, con 35.592; País Vasco, con 33.981; y Castilla-La Mancha, con 33.721.

En número de personas contratadas a través de ETT, Madrid encabezará la previsión, con 30.588 trabajadores, seguida de Cataluña, con 29.519; Comunidad Valenciana, con 16.977; Murcia, con 12.481; Andalucía, con 11.446; y Canarias, con 8.838.

En este contexto, Asempleo subraya que las empresas de trabajo temporal "siguen desempeñando un papel esencial en la economía española, especialmente en periodos de elevada actividad", ya que permite "conectar de forma ágil las necesidades de las empresas con las oportunidades de empleo". En 2025, las ETT y agencias de empleo firmaron más de 4,3 millones de contratos de puesta a disposición, alcanzando máximos para el sector.
