Los secretarios de Estado de Trabajo, Joaquín Pérez Rey, y de Seguridad Social y Pensiones, Borja Suárez, han celebrado los datos de empleo del mes de abril, que mejoran "mes a mes", y ha negado que existan signos de desaceleración pese a la incertidumbre internacional por el clima bélico impuesto por Estados Unidos.

Así lo han indicado después de conocerse este martes que la Seguridad Social rompió en abril la barrera de los 22 millones de ocupados tras ganar una media de 223.685 cotizantes respecto al mes anterior (+1%), mientras que el paro registrado bajó en 62.668 personas en el cuarto mes del año en relación a marzo (-2,6%), hasta situar la cifra de parados en 2.357.044 personas, mínimos desde junio de 2008.

En la rueda de prensa para presentar los datos de paro y afiliación de abril, el secretario de Estado de Trabajo ha asegurado que la bajada del paro registrado es "sólida y sin matices porque afecta a todos los sectores de actividad: a los hombres y las mujeres, en todas las franjas de edad y en el conjunto de territorios del país".

Además, Pérez Rey ha destacado la caída de la temporalidad, que ha retrocedido en el sector privado hasta el 11,9% según datos de la última EPA, a pesar del incremento del empleo, lo que ha permitido, destaca el 'número dos' de Trabajo, romper con la España en la que sólo bajaba la temporalidad "a golpe de sufrimiento, a golpe de despido, a golpe de crisis económica".

Pérez Rey ha puesto el foco en la caída del desempleo en menores de 25 años, con 169.693 jóvenes en paro, mínimo histórico, y ha avanzado que este martes el Consejo de Ministros previsiblemente dará 'luz verde' a nuevos programas de experiencias profesionales para seguir dinamizando el empleo juvenil, con programas como Tandem o Investigo.

En esta línea, ha subrayado que el desempleo entre mayor de 52 años, un colectivo que desde el Ejecutivo están prestando especial atención en sus políticas de empleo, ha bajado de la barrera del millón de personas, hasta situarse en 999.392 parados en abril.

"Necesitamos menos contratos que nunca para sostener un empleo del que no hay precedentes", ha proseguido Pérez Rey, que ha recalcado que en abril el 43% de los contratos firmados han sido indefinidos a pesar de que el cuarto mes del año estaba "normalmente" muy vinculado a "trabajos de usar y tirar" característicos del verano, como la hostelería.

MÁS DE 435.000 NUEVOS AFILIADOS ENTRE MARZO Y ABRIL

En este sentido, ha resaltado que casi la mitad del nuevo empleo autónomo se concentra en actividades de más alto valor añadido, como actividades profesionales, científicas y técnicas y actividades en telecomunicaciones, informática y consultoría.

Por secciones de actividad, ha señalado que las actividades de alto valor añadido suponen también una parte muy importante del crecimiento del empleo en el último año. "La hostelería se comporta muy positivamente, pero lo que realmente está tirando del empleo son esas secciones de más productivas", ha añadido.

Además, ambos secretarios de Estado han afirmado que todavía no hay todavía ningún Expediente de Regulación Temporal de Empleo (ERTE) registrado que esté vinculado a las consecuencias de la guerra de Irán y que, inclusive, los trabajadores en ERTE se han reducido en los últimos meses.
