El Tesoro Público español ha colocado este martes 6.463 millones de euros en una nueva subasta de letras a seis y doce meses, en el rango máximo previsto, y lo ha hecho rebajando la rentabilidad a medio año pero elevándola a un año hasta los niveles más altos desde septiembre de 2024, según la información publicada por el Banco de España.

Esta ha sido la primera subasta que se celebra tras la última reunión del Consejo de Gobierno del Banco Central Europeo (BCE), en la que se decidió mantener sin cambios los tipos de interés, a pesar del impacto en la inflación de la subida de los precios de la energía a causa de la guerra en Irán.

El este contexto, los inversores han seguido mostrando interés por los títulos españoles y la demanda ha superado en esta primera subasta de mayo los 11.586 millones de euros, muy por encima de lo adjudicado en los mercados.

En concreto, el organismo dependiente del Ministerio de Economía ha colocado 2.033,699 millones de euros en letras a seis meses, y el interés marginal se ha colocado en el 2,389%, por debajo del 2,391% de la emisión previa del mismo tipo de papel. La demanda ha superado los 4.396 millones de euros.

En la subasta a doce meses, se han adjudicado 4.429,246 millones de euros, más que el importe de demandado por los inversores, y la rentabilidad se ha situado en 2,651%, más elevado en este caso que el 2,640% de la subasta anterior de la misma referencia y el interés más alto desde septiembre de 2024.

EL JUEVES ESPERA COLOCAR HASTA 6.750 MILLONES

A esta emisión le seguirá otra esta misma semana, el jueves 7 de abril, en la que se subastarán bonos y obligaciones del Estado, con el objetivo de adjudicar entre 5.250 millones y 6.750 millones de euros.

En concreto, prevé colocar bonos del Estado a 3 años, con cupón del 2,35%; obligaciones del Estado a 10 años, con cupón del 3,30% y obligaciones del Estado indexadas a la inflación de la zona euro a 15 años, con cupón del 2,05% y obligaciones del Estado con una vida residual de 18 años y 6 meses, con cupón del 5,15%.

Los tipos de interés marginal de referencia de cara a esta emisión se sitúan en el 2,737% para los bonos del Estado a 3 años; en el 3,440% para las obligaciones del Estado a 10 años; en el 1,686% para las obligaciones del Estado indexadas a la inflación de la zona euro a 15 años y en el 3,573% para las obligaciones del Estado con una vida residual de 18 años y 6 meses.

Tras estas emisiones, el Tesoro Público español volverá a los mercados de deuda el próximo 12 de mayo, con una emisión de letras a tres y nueve meses, a la que seguirá otra de bonos y obligaciones del Estado el día 21 con la que cerrará las subastas del mes.

El Tesoro Público prevé unas necesidades de financiación nuevas de 55.000 millones para 2026, la misma cifra que en 2025. La estrategia de financiación del Tesoro Público estará condicionada este año por el buen momento de la economía española y la responsabilidad presupuestaria, según el Ministerio de Economía.

De los 55.000 millones de euros previstos en emisiones netas del Tesoro para este año, 50.000 millones de euros serán para deuda a medio y largo plazo, esto es, bonos y obligaciones, deuda en divisas, préstamos y deudas asumidas, mientras que 5.000 millones serán para emitir letras del Tesoro, las mismas cifras que en 2025.

En términos brutos, las emisiones totales alcanzarán este año los 285.693 millones de euros, un 4,2% más respecto al cierre previsto para 2025 (274.242 millones de euros), debido a las mayores amortizaciones que se producirán en 2026.

De esta cantidad bruta programada para este año, 176.935 millones de euros corresponden a emisiones brutas de deuda a medio y largo plazo, un 3,1% más que lo previsto para 2025 (171.514 millones de euros), mientras que se prevén 108.758 millones de euros para letras del Tesoro, casi un 5,9% más respecto al cierre estimado para el año pasado (102.728 millones de euros).

En 2025, por quinto año consecutivo, se mantuvo la vida media de la deuda española en el entorno de los ocho años.

En concreto, según datos del Ministerio de Economía, la vida media de la deuda española se situó en 2025 en 7,93 años, su nivel más alto desde 2021, cuando alcanzó los 7,99 años.
