La compañía presentará sus soluciones contra sistemas aéreos no tripulados ('C-UAS'), diseñadas para detectar, identificar y neutralizar drones que puedan poner en riesgo infraestructuras críticas, instalaciones militares o despliegues operativos.

Estas capacidades ya se encuentran disponibles en las Fuerzas Armadas españolas mediante la solución 'Aracne', desarrollada en colaboración con Escribano Mechanical & Engineering (EM&E).

Estos sistemas refuerzan, además, las capacidades de los sistemas de defensa aérea integrada de Indra, basados en radares de vigilancia aérea 'Lanza 3D', la nueva familia de radares 'Full AESA MTR' y el sistema de mando y control aéreo 'AirDef', con el que las Fuerzas Armadas españolas protegen en la actualidad el espacio aéreo español.

Indra ha celebrado haberse convertido en un referente en Europa en sistemas de defensa aérea y antiaérea, adelantándose en el desarrollo de sistemas con una arquitectura "abierta, modular e interoperable", que permiten combinar sensores y sistemas de distintos alcances para generar una defensa multicapa en profundidad.

Esta capacidad, según la empresa, es clave para hacer frente a ataques simultáneos de drones, misiles o aeronaves de combate, al permitir contrarrestarlos de forma progresiva y con mayor antelación.

La integración de capacidades antidrón y de defensa aérea y antiaérea resulta especialmente relevante en este momento, en el que se estudian iniciativas para reforzar la protección del flanco oriental mediante redes avanzadas de detección y mitigación de amenazas aéreas.
