"En Brasil son grandes y potentes, puede ser un problema muy grave para el sector y nos va a afectar", admite, añadiendo a los problemas actuales la subida del precio del gasoil. Los productores que han asistido a Pastrana han demostrado cómo el sector se mueve y diversifica productos. Javier Ramiro, de Apícola Alcarreña, ha exhibido su miel en crema, consiguiendo un producto cristalizado de manera natural y consiguiendo un producto untable muy requerido en la cita de este fin de semana.

Sergio Ramiro, de Apicultores de Guadalajara, ha colocado en su mostrador distintos licores derivados de la miel, como vermú; además de cerveza, hidromiel o vinagres, sin dejar de lado la novedad del queso a la miel.

Desde Mielería Alcarreña, Iván Moreno ha vendido, además de miel, caramelos y cremas cosméticas. "Se puede aprovechar todo lo que da la abeja".

Mismo caso ocurre en Alcarria Natura, donde Deisy Marías ha ofrecido al público no solo licores, sino también productos de higiene y cosméticos, además de chocolate, todo ello a partir de miel de lavanda.

GRAN AFLUENCIA

La afluencia ha sido "constante" desde la inauguración del viernes y especialmente intensa durante el sábado y el domingo, "con gran movimiento de público tanto en el recinto como en las calles del municipio".

El concejal de Turismo, Daniel Cano, destaca que la feria vuelve a demostrar su impacto en el conjunto de la economía local. Según explica, Pastrana ha vivido "un flujo constante de visitantes", de manera que el evento ha beneficiado no solo al sector apícola, sino también "al turismo, a la hostelería, al comercio y a la imagen del municipio".

Tal y como informa el Ayuntamiento, la edición de 2026 ha estado marcada por el traslado del certamen al Palacio Ducal de Covarrubias, debido a las obras de rehabilitación del Convento de San Francisco. En el futuro, el convento albergará el Museo de la Miel lo que realzará, sin duda, próximas ediciones.

El cambio ha aportado a la feria una escenografía monumental y una ubicación céntrica que han sido "ampliamente valoradas por expositores y visitantes". El cambio de sede ha obligado a adaptar el formato expositivo a las características del nuevo espacio, pero la respuesta del público y el ambiente vivido durante todo el fin de semana han consolidado la edición "como una de las más dinámicas de los últimos años".

El alcalde de Pastrana, Carlos Largo, considera que la cita ha vuelto a demostrar la capacidad del municipio para organizar un evento de referencia internacional, poniendo en valor su identidad. El regidor subraya que en Pastrana "se ha hablado de miel, pero también de agricultura, de biodiversidad, de ciencia y de futuro para el medio rural".

Largo ha querido destacar además el esfuerzo colectivo que hay detrás de una feria de estas dimensiones. El alcalde ha agradecido expresamente la implicación de expositores, investigadores, organización, trabajadores municipales y hosteleros, señalando que "la Feria Apícola vuelve a demostrar que el mundo rural tiene talento, conocimiento y capacidad para generar oportunidades".

La directora de la Feria Apícola, Raquel Isidro, destaca además la buena respuesta del público y de los expositores en esta edición marcada por el cambio de ubicación. Según explica, la celebración en el Palacio Ducal ha permitido concentrar actividades, ponencias y zona expositiva en un mismo espacio, lo que ha contribuido a reforzar el ambiente del certamen y la experiencia de los visitantes.
