Las pernoctaciones en establecimientos hoteleros españoles aumentaron un 1% en febrero respecto al mismo mes de 2025 superando los 18,5 millones, según datos hechos públicos este lunes por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), que asegura que la facturación hotelera creció un 3%.

Las pernoctaciones realizadas por viajeros residentes en España bajaron un 2,2%, mientras que las de no residentes se incrementaron un 2,8%.

Durante los dos primeros meses de 2026 las pernoctaciones crecieron un 2,2% respecto al mismo periodo del año anterior. Las de viajeros residentes en España se mantuvieron, mientras que las de no residentes aumentaron un 3,3%.

Andalucía, Cataluña y Comunidad de Madrid fueron los destinos principales de los viajeros residentes en España en febrero, con el 18,7%, 13,9% y 13,7% del total de las pernoctaciones, respectivamente.

Por su parte, los principales destinos elegidos por los no residentes fueron Canarias, Cataluña y Andalucía, con el 45,4%, 15,4% y 13,5% del total, respectivamente.

Por zonas turísticas, la isla de Tenerife registró el mayor número de pernoctaciones, con más de 2,2 millones mientras que los puntos turísticos con más pernoctaciones fueron Barcelona, Madrid y San Bartolomé de Tirajana.

Los viajeros procedentes de Reino Unido y Alemania concentraron el 23,2% y el 14,6%, respectivamente, del total de pernoctaciones de no residentes en febrero, según el instituto estadístico.

Las pernoctaciones de viajeros procedentes de Francia, Italia y Países Bajos (los siguientes mercados emisores) representaron el 6,9%, 4,6% y 4,3% del total, respectivamente.

En febrero se cubrieron el 53,5% de las plazas ofertadas, un 0,1% menos que en febrero de 2025. El grado de ocupación por plazas en fin de semana bajó un 1,8% y se situó en el 60,5%. Canarias presentó el mayor grado de ocupación por plazas durante febrero (78,4%).

Por zonas turísticas, Sur de Gran Canaria alcanzó el mayor grado de ocupación por plazas y en fin de semana, con el 85% y 82,8%, respectivamente.

El punto turístico con mayor grado de ocupación por plazas fue San Bartolomé de Tirajana (85,5%), mientras que Sallent de Gállego presentó la mayor ocupación en fin de semana (91,4%).

LOS PRECIOS CRECEN CASI UN 4%.

El Índice de Precios Hoteleros subió un 3,9% en febrero respecto al mismo mes de 2025, según el INE. Por comunidades y ciudades autónomas, la mayor subida se registró en Aragón (7,2%) y la bajada más acusada en la ciudad autónoma de Ceuta (-11,3%).

Por categorías, el mayor incremento de precios se produjo en los establecimientos de cuatro estrellas de oro (5,4%).

La facturación media de los hoteles por cada habitación ocupada (ADR) fue de 116,3 euros en febrero, lo que supuso un aumento del 2,9% respecto al mismo mes de 2025.

El ingreso medio diario por habitación disponible (RevPAR), que está condicionado por la ocupación de estos establecimientos, alcanzó los 73,6 euros, con una subida del 2,4%.

Por categorías, el ADR fue de 254,5 euros para los hoteles de cinco estrellas, de 120,6 euros para los de cuatro y de 91,8, para los de tres. El RevPAR para estas mismas categorías fue de 164,3, 86,3 y 58,3 euros, respectivamente.

El punto turístico con mayor ADR y RevPar fue Naut Aran, con 282,2 y 212 euros, respectivamente
