“El Ibex 35 está barato, pero no es momento de compra"

Víctor Alvargonzález, consejero delegado de PROFIM EAFI, analiza la situación macroeconómica en un momento en el que los mercados se mueven en dirección contraria al español y con Wall Street en máximos históricos.

¿El Ibex 35 está barato y para comprar?
“Está barato y no es momento de compra, al menos no comparado con otras. Cuando algo está barato puede ser por una ineficiencia del mercado dado que se equivoca o no, por una justificación plena. (…) El mercado es sabio y se ha dado cuenta de que España debe pasar por una resaca mayor.

Insistimos desde el año pasado que las bolsas americanas, aunque tengan unas valoraciones más elevadas, son preferibles.”

¿Qué porcentaje de su cartera destinaría a la “marca España”?
“Cero. Ahora mismo, hay muchos países en procesos de recuperación y ojala algún día España comience a dar estos signos.”

¿Hay alguna oportunidad de inversión en banca europea?
“En general, el sector financiero no es mi preferido, pero sí hay algunas oportunidades. Hemos insistido mucho en la parte de la deuda corporativa de calidad de algunos bancos. Hace unos meses se podría comprar deuda de bancos sólida, solvente y bien diversificada con rentabilidades en sus bonos del 5-6%, con los tipos de interés al 1% y bajando.

En todo caso, de hacer algo en el sector financiero se haría por valores y en la deuda senior de algunas entidades financieras españolas.”

¿Es una buena opción centrarse en compañías vía dividendo?
“Sin duda alguna y ahí es donde entran las compañías españolas. Hay compañías españolas buenas, más bien multinacionales, con dividendos estupendos.

Tendría mucho cuidado con el sector bancario y lo que miraría es tener la máxima garantía de que esas compañías van a mantener el dividendo en el año próximo. Es básico que sean sectores no demasiado cíclicos y que no dependan del ladrillo y de la construcción. Hay que ver quiénes van a poder aguantar.”
