"Los ETFs no tienen mucha cabida en la cartera de un inversor español"

Para estar invertidos en fondos con toda tranquilidad en las vacaciones de verano, David Fernández, analista de fondos de Tressis SV, dice que apostaría “por fondos de retorno absoluto, que no tienen tanta direccionalidad hacia estos mercados, como los long-short credit y los long-short equity, por ejemplo Threadneedle credit opportunities, Dexia Risck Arbitrage, para un inversor de volatilidad anual inferior al 4%, y fondos con un plus de rentabilidad y riesgo, como Aviva Global Convert Absolute Return o GLG European Alpha”.

A pesar de la que está cayendo, el experto comenta que “en renta variable hay valoraciones muy baratas en comparación con libros, por lo que sería importante hacer aproximaciones a largo plazo en sectores como el tecnológico”. Ahora mismo, “estaríamos enfocados a fondos value de EE.UU. y Europa, aunque también hay que tener en cuenta las economías emergentes”.

Dentro de la renta variable internacional, desde Tressis SV afirman que “no nos decantaríamos tanto por Latam, si no más por los emergentes asiáticos, sobre todo Corea del Sur y China, y también de manera global”. Algunos de los fondos que recomiendan son “Franklint Templeton Asian Growth y el Robeco Emerging Stars”.

“Para el perfil de inversor español, mayoritariamente conservador –dice Fernández- no le recomendaríamos estar en materias primas porque la especulación es muy importante y siempre ganan los Hedge Funds”. En caso de decidir invertir en materias primas, “tienen que tener en cuenta que este activo tiene una alta volatilidad, del 20%, y sería recomendable hacerlo a través de fondos de derivados y no tanto en renta variable de mineras y los fondos de futuros de materias primas llevan un buen desempeño”.

Con respecto a los ETFs, Fernández dice que “no tienen mucha cabida en la cartera de los inversores españoles porque, con tanta incertidumbre, no podemos estar tan direccionales en un índice de renta fija o variable”. “Pueden tener cabida en la cartera de inversores cualificados que inviertan a través de SICAVs porque el aspecto fiscal no perjudica la inversión”. Si bien, reconoce que “los ETFs tienen sentido para aquellos mercados en los que no se pueda tener acceso a través de futuros líquidos innegociados de manera mayoritaria, como los europeos”.

A aquellos inversores que tengan sobreponderardo el equity en sus carteras recomienda “captar el rebote y reducir la cartera de renta variable”. Mientras que en fondos de renta fija debemos seguir apostando por renta fija a través de fondos muy flexibles que inviertan en todos los aspectos y gestionen activamente la duración”.

Además, “la gestión alternativa también tienen que tener cabida en las carteras, al menos en un 10%”.
