Alejandro Domecq, Sales manager en M&G Investments: "invertir en temáticos, pensamos que tener un tema en la cabeza nos permite ganar visibilidad sobre de dónde van a venir los flujos de caja de las compañías, y cuáles van a ser esos vientos de cola. Luego hemos hecho algún estudio e informe, aunque creamos que estas temáticas son diferentes, están ligadas a los mismos factores, al momento, al growth y a la tecnología, no es exactamente lo mismo pero tiene muchas más cosas. Si haces a largo plazo las diferentes temáticas hay mucha diferencia de rentabilidad entre unas y otras. Es cierto que nuestras carteras tienen mucha exposición a temática y tenemos el dilema de cuales metemos como recomendadas y cuáles no."

David Azcona, CIO de Beka Values: "Antes de empezar a hablar de activo hay que hablar de la realidad, aquí hay mucho teaching respecto a que no todo es incluible, hay ciertas tendencias que tienen un sesgo small growth brutal. Si el resto de tus activos es muy tecnológico estás haciendo un flaco favor a tu cliente. Hay que hablar al cliente de que va ligado más al largo plazo sobre todo en megatendencias. Megatendencias es una idea de largo plazo con pretensión de preservar el patrimonio del cliente sobre todo frente a la inflación que es la espada de damocles que muchos de nosotros tenemos."


 
francisco_lomba. Franciso Lomba: Analista de Inversiones en Afi Inversiones Globales: "La parte de renta variable se está centrando mucho en temáticas. Semanalmente tenemos un Comité interno para dar seguimiento y hacer “tematich washing”. En ese sentido hacemos bastante hincapié en la pureza del fondo, qué porcentaje de beneficios vienen de la propia temática y qué porcentaje se generan del grupo compañías que tiene el fondo. De un fondo temático no puedes esperar un tracking error bajo si no un active share o tracking error elevado que muestre que esa gestión activa da un resultado positivo en el medio, largo plazo."
