Faus: Los 8.550 puntos del Ibex 35 han de vigilarse con lupa

Durante más de dos semanas el IBEX35 y el resto de índices europeos mantienen estrechos rangos de fluctuación, en el caso del selectivo español entre 8550 y 8840 puntos.

Pese a que en el corto plazo podríamos ver una rápida salida por encima de este rango no hemos de olvidar las importantes referencias de resistencia que se le presentan al Ibex35 a poca distancia de esos 8850 puntos:

 
Las medias móviles muestran una situación inusual de estrechamiento, parecida a la experimentada previa a las caídas de agosto y noviembre del pasado año. En base a esto la pérdida del soporte en 8550 puntos parece letal y favorece un escenario bajista tendente a ratificar los mínimos de febrero en la zona 7800-7500 puntos.
 
Niveles de soporte clave para el resto de índices europeos:
 
Al igual que el IBEX35 presenta niveles de soporte clave en los 8550 puntos, el resto de índices europeos presentan niveles relevantes equivalentes, los cuales mostramos en el gráfico inferior. Un eventual primer paso debajo de soportes por parte de alguno de estos índices nos pondría en alerta por correlación para el resto:

 
Mantenemos escenario de posible oportunidad de compra en la zona de mínimos de febrero de cara a las próximas semanas:
 
Si atendemos a la famosa pauta estacional de “Vender en mayo y marcharse” en el IBEX35 podemos apreciar cómo en los últimos años ha venido funcionando. Desde 2007, a excepción del año 2009, vender en mayo, y sin perjuicio de subidas en el corto plazo, ha venido otorgando la posibilidad de volver a comprar meses después a precios más sustancialmente más bajos. Este dato viene a sugerir la probabilidad de iniciar durante las próximas semanas un proceso bajista hacia los soportes de 7500-7800 puntos, constituidos por los mínimos de febrero y la zona de soporte en 2013:
