Se podría decir que García Díaz ha nacido en y para BlackRock, ya que más del 70% de sus 15 años de experiencia profesional la ha desarrollado en esa casa. Comenzó su carrera en 2005 en Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, adquirida un año más tarde por BlackRock con el objetivo de crecimiento del negocio en Europa y en soluciones de renta variable. Tres años más tarde, a sus 26 años, le ofrecen trabajar para F&C Asset Management en Londres como responsable del mercado ibérico, y en 2012 comienza su MBA en la London Business School a tiempo completo. Al terminarlo, decide volver “a sus raíces” en BlackRock, con distintos roles y cargos de responsabilidad, y es en 2021 cuando asume el gran reto de dirigir el equipo de ventas para Iberia. Él y sus dos hijas, de 5 y 3 años, son madrileños, pero está rodeado de padres y esposa andaluces.
